Dear Concerned Subscriber, thank you for your enquiry. Here at Tony’s World we value all communication from our dedicated followers and yours is no exception.
Orangutans: Tony has always felt a deep affinity for this magnificent creature along with their brother simian giants, the Gorilla. Chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans have been living for thousands of years in their forest, living fantastic lives, never overpopulating, never destroying the forest. Tony would say that they have been way more successful than humans as far as being in harmony with the environment. Human beings and their insatiable greed are the biggest threat to these beautiful animals. Hence, Tony’s lifelong desire to be a guardian of the beasts, reeking biblical wrath on any human interlopers. Alas he will never get the chance to fulfill his wish.
The Orangutan pictures have all been carefully selected to represent the state of mind, mood, of the author and content of the article. The large adult is pondering the purpose and requirements of Web Development. The wide eyed junior is the embodiment of the fun and wonder felt when digging into the innards of a misbehaving machine. Surely the ‘saw man’ needs no explanation for Mr Fixit and the Modeller. And on to the Home page. Surely any explanation or comment is superfluous. The dragging knuckles, the drooping shoulders, the chin sunken into the chest/neck. If this isn’t the epitome of ‘WTF, why do I bother’, THE most appropriate pic on the whole site, then tell me what is.
And the site logo. The adorable shining eyes and effort to grin, how could it be anything but the site author.
Drop down Navigation: The map and routes through the wonderland that is Tony’s World, is in constant flux. He continuously strives to weave adventure and interest into the world at oft unexpected places. “Wonder Traps” you could call them. There are several gateways, nay portals, into the Labyrinth. The front gate is the Home page. Two buttons take you to the Latest additions and the full calendar. The About page has portals to 4 streams of info. The Navigation page explains of all links and their locations. The Navigation menu clicks to the Navigation page and it also has a drop down to all the relevant streams.
Happy browsing fellow knowledge seekers.
